Description: This series consists of six Ration Books, a basic mileage ration certificate, and Japanese ration coupons. The Ration Books were issued to Lloyd Durant and Daphne Durant (nee Twiddy). The Japanese ration coupons were sent by J. Kosha, Puente, California, to an unknown individual in Yokohama, Japan.;Photographs and Ration Books from the service of Lieutenant (junior grade) Lloyd Durant, who served as chief photographer in the United States Coast Guard in the European Theater of Operations. The collection is arranged into three series: I. Official United States Coast Guard photographs, 1944; II. Personal photographs, 1937-1940; and III. Ration Books, 1935-1942.
