Description: Birdie thanks her father for the sweet birthday message. Comforts him over the death of a family member. A few of the officers invite the six nurses out, and they bought raw shrimp and served them like oysters; Birdie didn't want to hurt their feelings, so the nurses ate or pretended to eat the raw shrimp. Sad that work is so bad for him, urges him to spend her allotment.
