Description: This series (1 folder) consists of letters written by Thomas McLaughlin while he was in the Pacific Theater of Operations. The bulk of the correspondence is written to his wife, Mrs. Marie McLaughlin, but there is one letter written to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Mary McLaughlin. At the beginning of the correspondence, Marie is in Sherman Oaks, California, but she is soon relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana.
