Description: This series consists of six documents relating to the service of Staff Sergeant Lynn Rose. The bulk of the collection is made of military or government correspondence; however, there is one newspaper clipping. The other documents are Rose’s selective service card, the telegram informing Rose’s parents that he is missing in action, and National Service Life Insurances certificates.;Personal correspondence, photographs, military documents, and government documents from the service of Staff Sergeant Lynn Rose, who was killed in action while serving as a gunner on the B-26 "Draggin Lady" with the 599th Bombardment Squadron, 397th Bombardment Group (M) in the European Theater of Operations.
