Description: Sent from Mr. J. D. Oglesby, Shreveport, Louisiana, to J. Willard Oglesby, APO 708. Mr. Oglesby tells Willard that he hasn't done much hunting. A friend of his shot eleven squirrels. Mr. Oglesby is tired of working the night shift. He hasn't seen Margaret recently but Willard's mom talked to her. Informs Willard that he sold the Ford: "I think it will be worth more to you in war bonds and we did not need it. And the tirers [sic] were gone any way.".
