Photographs are from time spent aboard the USS Enterprise following a shipwreck in the Atlantic, possibly with Operation Magic Carpet for returning servicemen and women to the United States. Photos include WACS; Red Cross entrances; the USS Enterprise, including wreckage on the deck, performers, bands, men dressed as women, the GI version of the Andrew sisters, transfer of injured aboard lifeboats; scenes aboard a tugboat; returning to New York harbor; Horta, a city within the Archipelago of the Azores; U.S. Military Cemetery of Champigneul-Champagne.
