Description: This series consists of 57 pieces of personal correspondence sent to William and Adele Stein, West Point, Mississippi, and Hewlett, New York, from various members of the Armed Forces. The senders are: Corporal Seymour Ackerman, Sergeant B (illegible name), Private Archie Bernard, Private First Class Al Daltof, Sergeant Isidore Epstein, Corporal Roslyn Frautman (Magill), Staff Sergeant Sophie Gamsu, Lieutenant Marvin Gewalt, Lieutenant David Goodman, Lieutenant John R. Hall, Lieutenant Alvin Hasenberg, and Private First Class Mark G. Hazard.;Personal correspondence and military documents sent to Mr. and Mrs. William Adele, from several members of the Armed Forces throughout the war. The majority of the letters were from servicemen who attended Officer Candidate School Transportation Corps at Mississippi State College. The collection is arranged into six series: I.
