Description: This series (4 folders) consists of souvenir documents Walter Antoine collected while in the service. Documents include photographic booklets of European cities, blank postcards from various European countries, travel booklets, maps, a French phrasebook, menus, hotel passes, theater tickets, ration cards, stamps, and German medical tags. Also included are copies of the Victory News newsletter dated 29 October-6 November 1945.;Military documents, personal correspondence, photographs, and souvenir items from the service of Technician Third Grade Walter Antoine, who served with the 345th Medical Dispatch and with the Medical Detachment of the 262nd Infantry Regiment in the European Theater of Operations. The collection is arranged into five series: I. Military correspondence and documents, 1943-1945; II. Personal correspondence, 1930-1945; III. Souvenirs, 1943-1945; IV. Photographs, 1943-1945; and V. Home Front.
