- Description: This series (1 folder) consists of military correspondence and documents pertaining to the service of Walter Antoine. Documents include identification cards, immunization records, commands for battle station from ship’s medical officer HMT (RMS) Aquitaria, special orders to attend British Fire Fighting course, passes, instructions for servicemen on leave in Switzerland, special orders for American-German relations, certificates of retention and customs declaration, and a certificate for captured enemy equipment. Also included are booklets on returning to civilian life.;Military documents, personal correspondence, photographs, and souvenir items from the service of Technician Third Grade Walter Antoine, who served with the 345th Medical Dispatch and with the Medical Detachment of the 262nd Infantry Regiment in the European Theater of Operations.
