Items included in the series are: photographs of Calvin Benedict, postcards of Camp Polk, Louisiana, newspaper clippings concerning Benedict and other paratroopers, and Tulane’s honor roll of those killed in action.;Personal correspondence, military correspondence, photographs, and souvenirs from the service of Sergeant Calvin Benedict, who served with the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division and was a German prisoner of war from June 1944 to January 1945.
