Description: This series consists of miscellaneous documents belonging to Miss Bernice Bohlmann. Documents include a copy of a letter dated 10 October 1940 from the Minister of Finland to Bernice Bohlmann, copies of four V-mails, a ration book, gasoline ration card, a passport, and a military insignia guide.;Personal correspondence sent to Ms. Bernice "Bunny" Bohlmann, who was a high school teacher in Baldwin, New York. Several of Bohlmann’s former students joined the Armed Forces during World War II and wrote to her during their service. The collection is arranged into seven series: I. Personal correspondence, A-D, 1943-1945; II. Personal correspondence, F-J, 1943-1946; III. Personal correspondence, L-P, 1943-1946; IV. Personal correspondence, S-W, 1943-1946; V. Personal correspondence from unknown senders, 1943-1945; VI. Postcards; and VII. Miscellaneous.
