Description: This series consist of nine postcards sent to Miss Bernice Bohlmann. The majority of the postcards have scrapbook paper covering the backs, therefore making it unclear who sent the postcards.;Personal correspondence sent to Ms. Bernice "Bunny" Bohlmann, who was a high school teacher in Baldwin, New York. Several of Bohlmann’s former students joined the Armed Forces during World War II and wrote to her during their service. The collection is arranged into seven series: I. Personal correspondence, A-D, 1943-1945; II. Personal correspondence, F-J, 1943-1946; III. Personal correspondence, L-P, 1943-1946; IV. Personal correspondence, S-W, 1943-1946; V.
