Description: Informs Mrs. Taulbee that her husband 2nd Lieutenant George Taulbee was wounded in action [WIA] 18 November 1944 in Germany. Telegram is glued to a diary page dated 3 December 1944. Helen writes, "It was such a relief to know that he was only wounded - and slightly. A few days later I got a V-mail from George saying he had been shot in the left arm twice." 2 December 1944.
