Description: This series consists of letters from Artemas Hendrick, to his wife, Lucille Hendrick, Shreveport, Louisiana. Hendrick is begins the year by traveling from Algeria to his new camp in Italy. He receives a promotion from Private First Class to Corporal in late April. The rest of the year is spent in different areas of Italy.;Personal correspondence, photographs, and souvenirs from the service of Corporal Artemas Hendrick, who served in the 312th Depot Repair Squadron, 41st Air Depot Group, 15th Air Force in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations.
