Description: Letter from Stanley Ray, England to Mr. and Mrs. Ray (parents), Gretna, Louisiana or friend(?). Letter recounting John Rays experiences in the D-Day Normandy invasion; was shot by Germans coming down; killed two Germans; given medical care by German medics; assuming he's been sent to United States for medical treatment; dating and marriage. John was later found to have been killed on June 7th.
