- Summary:
- Description: Letter from Pfc. Anthony W. Marlowe, Battery B, 15th Field Artillery Battalion, [Belfast; Northern Ireland] to Mrs. Mabel Cates, Amarillo, Texas. Complains about the constantly rainy weather. Apologizes for being curt in his last letter (about Paris and London), and says his mood changes a lot which he partly blames on having nothing to do, not even a library, to relax the mind. "I believe anyone can live through the darkest days if he just keeps a clean mind and trusts in God. Of course, the almighty may not want you to come through.".
