Description: Black three-ring binder. Red and white sticker label on the spine is torn, and remaining portion reads "Eb's let', Feb 1st - March 31st." Scrapbook of correspondence from Lieutenant Colonel Eberhard Deutsch, England and Italy, to his wife, Rhea Deutsch, New Orleans, in addition to other correspondence, newspaper clippings, and programs for theater performances. February 1945, Deutsch left England for the Allied Force Headquarters in Italy, where he spent more time in the hospital and had abscessed teeth removed; several letters from Deutsch's Army comrades, and one letter from Rhea Deutsch to her husband, upbraiding him for writing to their son's ex-wife and child; Deutsch's apology follows, and another letter vehemently denying her suspicions of his infidelity.
