Description: Letter from Mrs. J. P. Marlowe, 610 A Prospect Ave., Amarillo, Texas to her son, Pfc. Anthony W. Marl Field Artillery Battalion, France. Says Little Rock (L.R.), Arkansas is a nice town. Hopes Wayne will come home soon, and tells him to just trust in God. She does not know that Wayne was killed in action a week before, on 28 August 1944. Also includes a one page note from Wayne’s father.
