Description: Roughly 60 letters and V-mails (processed and unprocessed) sent from Wilbur Erwin to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Erwin of Oakdale, Louisiana. Erwin writes from England for the first half of the year. He participates in the invasion of France in June of 1944. His company travels east and Battery "B" of the 33rd Field Artillery Battalion arrives in Belgium in September, and in Germany in October of 1944.
