Description: Roughly 50 letters, postcards, and V-mails (processed and unprocessed) sent from Wilbur Erwin to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Erwin of Oakdale, Louisiana. Erwin begins 1943 at Camp Sill, Oklahoma. He journeys across the United States and lands in Sicily in September, 1943. In November he leaves the Mediterranean front and heads to England, landing there in November of 1943 and staying there through the end of 1943.
