Summary:
In this compilation, the authors analyze various methods of routing used in compressive sensing-based data gathering for wireless sensor networks, comparing and contrasting each method in terms of energy consumption and network lifetime. The main approaches used to apply compressive sensing algorithms in two microwave imaging methods, synthetic aperture radars and metamaterial antenna-based apertures, are presented. The digital algorithms for detecting and estimating ultra-short pulse parameters based on the compressive sensing theory are investigated. In addition, a simple algorithm which is not based on the linear programming methods is considered, providing acceptable efficiency for processing ultra-short pulses.
