- Summary:
- "It has been 100 years since the creation of psychodrama. This book aims to increase the evidence of psychodrama as a theoretical and practical model for its application in psychotherapy and in psychoeducational and social interventions. It is based on the international increase of scientific contributions about psychodrama in the past few years as a model of intervention with informed evidence. This book compiles different psychodramatic treatments for intervening in a wide diversity of profiles and settings: treatment of PTSD, adolescents with problem behavior, families, gender-based violence and prisons. Additionally, this book proposes several current techniques to be used in the psychotherapeutic and psychoeducational context: psychodramatic images, intermediary objects, masks and various role-playing methods. In short, this book is a tool of special interest for researchers in psychodrama, psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, social educators and social workers. The reader can learn and enjoy the current contributions in psychodrama through the integration of research, theory and professional practice"-- Provided by publisher.
