- Summary:
- The developed original principles and approaches for advanced materials determine the main achievements and directions of modern natural and technical sciences, technologies, techniques and industry. These studies, based on strict mathematical methods, modern numerical approaches, mathematical modeling and physical experiment directly improve the material properties and characteristics of designed devices. These PHENMA 2020 Proceedings are devoted to development and solution of different actual problems into framework of five scientific directions: (i) processing techniques; (ii) physics and mathematics; (iii) mechanics; (iv) applications and (v) industry and management of prospective materials. This book presents novel original results in theoretical, computational and test methods, which allow manufacture of materials with structure-sensitive properties at various scale levels. Significant attention is devoted to developed methods of mathematical physics directed as to characterization of the materials as to designing technical devices and applications. The materials could be obtained due to reprocessing natural materials, wasters, fruits and plants. The book considers promising modern techniques for fabrication of various new materials and devices, which are very important for educational purposes and industry, unification and development of different investigations, designs and analyses. The book presents new results of internationally recognized scientific teams in different areas of Condensed Matter Physics, Materials Science, Physical and Mechanical Experiment, Processing Techniques and Engineering of Advanced Materials and Composites, Mathematical Applications and Numerical Methods. These results are devoted to R&D of advanced structures, other promise materials and composites with specific properties, based on the developed processing techniques and modern approaches of chemistry, physics, mechanics and materials science, and also a wide spectrum of applications including industry and management. This collection presents selected reports of the 2020 International Conference on "Physics, Mechanics of New Materials and Their Applications", which took place in Kitakyushu in Japan, 26-29 March 2021 (http://www.phenma2020.sfedu.ru/). Due to the coronavirus pandemic, which began in the world in 2020, the PHENMA-2020 was postponed from 2-5 October 2020 to the pointed date. The book will be very useful to students, post-graduate students, scientists and engineers participating in R&D of prospective materials and composites, and also different devices, fabricated on their base and intended for numerous applications in different areas of science, technique and technology.
