- The collective monograph Determinants of the organizational climate of universities and faculties is based on the situation when the world and Czech higher education is undergoing reforms. The authors of the monograph focus on the Czech legislative framework of universities, which also determines their economic resources. They note a new phenomenon in the higher education environment, namely their marketing strategy. They consider another determinant of universities and faculties to be their management, which is also linked to issues of its professionalisation and knowledge in the field of management and staff evaluation. Academic staff and their profession is therefore the subject of the next chapter. However, universities and faculties are not only made up of legislative and economic structures, but above all of students and doctoral students, who are the subject of the final chapters.
