LIBRA Rare NK9243 .B8 1905 is the gift of Jonathan J.G. Alexander, 2023. Bookplate ("From the Library of GEORGE CHARLES WILLIAMSON, Burgh House, Hampstead. Shelf 32 1907.") with shelf-mark supplied in manuscript on front pastedown. Oval stamp ("SPANISH ART GALLERY 50 CONDUIT STREET CURZON [...]") overstamped with another stamp ("6, CHESTERFIELD GARDENS, CURZON STREET.") with manuscript shelf-marks ("3.E." and "2-C1"), the former struck through, on front free endpaper. Index card with manuscript bibliographical information in pencil laid in. Printed paper slip titled "Illustrated Catalogues." with manuscript notes affixed to half-title leaf. Printed invitation from the Burlington Fine Arts Club "to see a Collection of ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPTS, now in the Gallery of the Club" with blanks for the invitee's name and the name of the member providing the introduction affixed to back free endpaper; letter reminding the recipient of the number of copies ordered and the subscription price billed (both numbers supplied in manuscript) for this work with manuscript inscription ("Dr G.C. Williamson") at foot affixed to back free endpaper.
