Summary:
This challenge follows Mykola, a graduate of business economics, who was tasked with undertaking data analysis for the Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The Ministry considers ways to strengthen collaboration between the representatives of business and academia to generate innovative solutions for rebuilding Ukraine. For these purposes, in collaboration with Diia.Business, the largest digital platform in Ukraine, Mykola and Ministry personnel plan to develop a combined online platform. The platform will become an effective tool for interaction between business and academia in the field of science-intensive innovations and technologies. Maria, the head of the Directorate of the Ministry and the chief of Mykola, asked him to do some initial research to understand the challenges in the field of innovation and knowledge management that Ukraine faced after Russia's full-scale invasion. Mykola began by researching digital platforms that can be used for interaction between businesses and the scientific community. Students will evaluate this process and follow the steps proposed by Mykola in coding and tabulating data for analysis. Mykola also used the second dataset, which represents the intellectual property rights potential of Higher Education Institutions in Ukraine. Students will follow Mykola's example to screen, analyse, and group this data to find the most appropriate and successful partners for collaboration with business representatives. An effective approach to addressing the data challenge requires a foundation of relevant background knowledge and essential skills. Proficiency in strategic management, communication studies, and marketing can provide valuable insights and capabilities necessary for navigating and interpreting data effectively.
