As a result they won the overall Sustainability award in 2024 at the Deliciously Yorkshire Food Awards (Greenwood, 2024). They purposefully practice regenerative farming have developed a brand with provenance and brand differentiation based on environmental sustainability. Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil have also taken advantage of changes in the external environment particularly political, economic and social factors These include PEST analysis factors such as the Ukraine-Russia conflict, rising olive oil process and the health benefits of rapeseed oil.
