The main themes are: reflections related to the concept and uses of epidemiology, specifically in psychiatry and mental health; the methodological issues dedicated to social concepts contained in the concepts used in epidemiology; aspects of complexity inherent to the mental health / illness process. It thus offers the proposal to build the foundations of the three epidemiologies in the psychiatric domain: that of personality, that of psychological suffering and that of mental illness.
