- Summary:
- This publication explores the defunct miniature park Mundomágico opened in 1983 in Lo Prado, Santiago, Chile. The park served as an allegory for the emerging neoliberal Chile, where the monumental landscape (especially the Andes Mountains) functioned as a symbolic image of national unity. Twenty-five years after the park's closure, Gaspar Abrilot Sepúlveda's photographs offer a critical reading of the fictionalized Chilean dream constructed during the dictatorship--a political and aesthetic project that ultimately collapsed.
- This book presents photographic work by Gaspar Abrilot Sepúlveda, complemented by texts from various authors. It includes sections on photography, film scanning, color correction, graphic design, illustrations, and English translations, indicating a richly visual and bilingual artistic project.
