Summary:
A report on former President and current Republican nominee Donald Trump's plan for mass deportation. 60 MINUTES travels to Maryland and shadows Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers arresting undocumented immigrants with criminal records and interviews the Trump administration's former director of ICE, Tom Homan, who advised implementation of then-President Trump's "Zero Tolerance" policy on immigration and led the efforts to separate around 5,000 migrant children from their families at the southern border and prosecute their parents. Also includes interviews with Matt Elliston, director of ICE's Baltimore field office; Jason Houser, ICE chief of staff during the first two years of the Biden administration; and Monica Comacho Perez, who has lived and worked in the U.S. since her family came illegally from Mexico over 20 years ago.
