Summary:
A report on Argentinian “death flights”. Though many crimes remain unsolved from Argentina’s dictatorship in the mid-70s, investigators discovered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Skyvan PA-51 airplane used to murder thousands of citizens deemed threats to the state. Includes interviews with Giancarlo Ceraudo, Italian documentary photographer and discoverer of the death plane; Miriam Lewin, leading Argentinian investigative journalist best known for uncovering crimes of the dictatorship and discoverer of the death plane; Taty Almeida, president of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo whose son Alejandro went missing; Cecilia De Vincenti, daughter of Azuncena Villaflor a victim of the Holy Cross kidnapping who was searching for her son; Patricia Roisinblit, friend of Miriam Lewin and former prisoner who went missing along with her husband and son; Rosa Roisinblit, founding member of the Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo and mother of Rose who spent years searching for Rose’s son Rodolfo; Mariana Eva Perez, Rodolfo’s older sister; and Guillermo Perez Roisinblit, Mariana’s brother and Rosa’s grandson who was found after being abducted as a baby.
