- Established in 1999, Sistahs Kopanang (SK) was a "black lesbian organisation dedicated to empowering and uniting all black lesbians beyond borders, its aim is based in empowering and networking those sistahs who live in South Africa and those who have settled in other countries" (description quoted from their training meeting in 2000). The organisation only lasted just over a year. This collection consists of a few records from the short-lived, Johannesburg based group.
