Developing Intercultural Learners in English Language Teaching Classrooms was educational action research to integrate intercultural training methods into English as a Foreign Language classrooms to develop learners' intercultural communication competence. This case study focuses on the action research procedure, the multiperspectivity in data collection and analysis, and challenges and considerations for the researcher in this action research project. It specifically provides a teacher researcher's perspective in doing action research. It highlights the enactment of the dual roles of "I" throughout the research process. The role of researcher makes "I" a critical observer and evaluator of what "I" have done to address the research questions. The role of teacher makes "I" a participant throughout the entire teaching procedure. The role alternation makes it possible for the researching part to fully benefit the teaching part of action research.
