This case study applies linear regression modeling using a survey research design to understand and improve customer attitudes in a sports organization. This widely used quantitative research technique provides a powerful prescriptive statistical analysis that generates useful marketing research insights and guides organizations in making more effective and actionable marketing management decisions. The focus of this work is on how marketing students and professionals early in their careers can design a marketing research survey centered around linear regression modeling, identify the necessary marketing variables that set up such statistical modeling, and utilize its prescriptive benefits of generating marketing management strategy. In this particular case study, a marketing research consulting project for a youth soccer club assessed the importance and performance of the club's mission, vision, and values and their relationships with overall satisfaction of, and commitment to, the soccer club.
