- Summary:
- The States of Fragility series addresses fragility as a universal phenomenon that exists to varying degrees and in different ways in all states and societies. Since 2015, the reports have sought to better understand the implication of fragility for international stability and development, as well as trends in resource and financial flows that exist to address its underlying drivers. The series is supported by the States of Fragility website that provides regularly updated data and analysis for policy makers, practitioners and researchers interested in fragility. The States of Fragility series and website allow policy makers to: • monitor the level and composition of international flows to fragile contexts • explore the 5 dimensions of fragility: political, societal, security, environmental and economic, as defined by OECD's multidimensional fragility framework. • draw on up-to-date analysis and evidence on key fragility issues of concern by country. The OECD's analysis helps to ensure that issues driving fragility remain high on the international development agenda, and drives more effective programming on the ground.
