Summary:
Based on the data from the Telecommunications Database 2001, this study provides an extensive range of indicators for the development of different communications networks and compares performance indicators such as revenue, investment and employment. These indicators are recognized as being essential for industry as well as for regulators who use bench-marking to evaluate policy performance. The book also maps the first two years of competition for many OECD countries that fully opened their market to competition in 1998.
