Rations to emigrating Indians : Mr. Drayton, from the Select Committee to which the subject had been referred, made the following report : the Select Committee appointed by a resolution of the House of Representatives "to inquire whether an attempt was made by the late Secretary of War, John H. Eaton, fraudulently to give to Samuel Houston, or any other person or persons concerned with Samuel Houston, a contract for supplying rations to such Indians as might emigrate to their lands west of Arkansas and Missouri.
