Sioux Indians : return to an address of the Honourable the House of Commons, dated 6 May 1864, for, "copies or extracts of all the correspondence between the commanding officers of the United States troops in Minnesota and the resident governor of the Hudson's Bay Company at Red River, respecting a tribe of Sioux Indians who were refugees within the British territory," "of report of the meeting of the Governor and Council of Assiniboine, on the 12th day of March 1864, including copy of the message which the governor is reported to have received from the Indians," "and, of the correspondence between the Hudson's Bay Company, or any of the colonial authorities, and Her Majesty's government, in reference thereto".
