A new silicone hardcoat wet-on-wet system has been developed to increase productivity in the coatings industry by reducing the processing time by at least 67%. The performance and weatherability of this coating is comparable to that of the baked primer silicone hardcoat system. Additionally, the economic analysis show that the cost of a new coating line is significantly less than a UV-cured system
