- The SAUER-SUNDSTRAND Series 51 Variable Displacement motors were designed to be the most technically advanced hydraulic units in the industry. They are intended to be primarily integrated into a closed circuit hydraulic system for the purpose of transfer and control of hydraulic power. The motors, also, are used in open circuit applications. The Series 51 is a Bent Axis Design and provides features that are advantageous to creating compact hydraulic systems that are cost efficient for a broad range of torque and speed capability.
