Summary:
Speed control with variable displacement motors is a technology, which can be advantageously applied for a lot of cases of drive units, especially if good dynamic characteristics and a high efficiency are demanded. The design of an electro-hydraulic control loop can be supported by a simplified, linearized, mathematical modell. With this the dynamic characteristics can be estimated. For layout of the required pressure supply network the controlled motor has to be taken into consideration, because it influences the damping ratio of pressure control
