Summary:
In the modern fan drive system there has been an increasing requirement for higher efficiency, low noise generation and flexibility of installation.Today these requirements can be met by an Electronically Controlled Hydrostatic Fan Drive System (EHG).On the EHG system the fan, whose speed of rotation regulates the coolant temperature, is driven by a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic motor speed is regulated by an electronically controlled valveThe EHG drive system has low power loss, fast response to temperature change, high reliability and because of its modular design flexibility of installation. This paper will discuss the EHG and its comparison to other fan drives
