Summary:
Digital audio systems for general aviation aircraft reduce installation complexity and noise pickup. Digital processing of audio signals can provide significant performance enhancements and operational improvements to reduce pilot workload.To meet marketplace requirements, a new data bus for digital audio was developed to permit connecting terminals freely along a bus. The same protocol and bus management circuits may be used for either a fiber optic or twisted pair cable version of the data bus
