Summary:
Studies were conducted to develop an optimal hydro-static transmission (HST) which resolves a variety of hindrances that might occur when installing a conventional HST in small riding mowers, and a new oil to be used in connection with it. As a result, the new Honda HST (H-HST) supports drastic improvement in terms of transmission efficiency. Therefore the H-HST system minimizes power loss, enabling it to be installed in small riding mowers, and contributing to operational and driving ease
