Summary:
An inprocess high rack storage was built in 1978 in a free floor space between production line of parts and assemly line in the Walking Tractor Factory of Nanning, China to expend the storaging areas for finishing parts. Experience shows that it can be installed easily and quickly and have good operating characteristics and reliablity. Such a design is of practical significance to some developing countries. With a floor space of 400, the high rack storage is of gravity type which is not connected with the building. The size is 7.4m 57m 3m (H L B) with a total tunnels of 636 and pallet positions of 2544
