- Summary:
- AbstractA new oil filter was developed which combines full flow and bypass filtration in one unit. The bypass filter is very effective at removing small particles (in the 3 micron range) which contribute significantly to engine wear. The full flow filter in the new unit uses a microglass media for efficient filtering and low resistance to flow. Due to combining full flow and bypass in one unit, the customer benefits with better filtration, faster filter changes, lower weight, and lower cost
