An advanced digital signal processor suitable for use in audio equipment has been developed.This LSI uses a floating-point operation method which conforms to IEEE.P754 and has two types of serial data transfer circuits, and a peripheral muting coefficient register.This processor can easily accept control transfer two types of PCM data.Thus a high performance flexible and simple digital audio system with few peripheral circuits can be constructed.This paper explains the features, and applications of our LSI
