Summary:
Conducting Sound Quality Evaluations in automobiles has become very important due to the high value customer's place on the automobile audio system. The design engineer should conduct these evaluations with people who are similar to the customer, and not necessarily experienced audiophiles. The audio test should be conducted using the signal from a local radio broadcast. The evaluators should listen only to the music source they prefer. The evaluations result in a comparative score. The evaluator should also provide data on the center and prefered settings of volume, bass and treble, and any other improvements desired
