In response to Automotive OEM's need for higher quality in plastics used in interior trim applications, Monsanto has developed a color stable material to meet stricter UV stability requirements. This material, an ASA polymer, has properties similar to ABS and excellent melt-flow which allows molding of large and complex parts. The product can be readily colored and has outstanding color stability as demonstrated by accelerated UV as well as actual outdoor testing
