Summary:
Sensor management is the integrated control of multiple sensors to provide enhanced and timely information to the fighter aircraft pilot. Artificial Intelligence techniques provide useful tools for building a sensor management system. Object-oriented programming provides a framework for modeling the sensor management environment, and rule-based programming provides a flexible mechanism for capturing sensor management expertise. A prototype sensor management system was built using Intellicorp's Knowledge Engineering Environment (KEE)
